
We welcome Anna LaPointe as our new Development Director, thanks to a generous “capacity building “grant from M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust. Anna will lead the organization’s fundraising efforts to ensure financial sustainability and growth. She will focus on developing and implementing strategies to expand individual major gifts, corporate, and planned-giving efforts.
Anna is a purpose-driven fundraising leader who has spent her career strengthening mission-focused organizations across Oregon. She is known for bringing optimism, curiosity, and genuine care for every relationship.
Before joining Oregon Parks Forever, Anna led development and external affairs efforts for organizations including Scouting America and the YMCA dedicated to youth development, outdoor education, and community wellbeing. She has guided teams, supported volunteer and board partners, and helped to advance projects that expand access to nature and learning for people of all ages.

Anna is inspired by Oregon’s landscapes and the communities that care for them. She is deeply committed to connecting people with the parks, forests, and outdoor spaces that shape our state’s identity and future. Her approach blends storytelling, thoughtful stewardship, and a belief that strong relationships can spark lasting impact.
