Bob Ross virtual 5K – registration is still open.
Inspired by American painter and PBS television personality Bob Ross’ love of the outdoors, Oregon Parks Forever is participating in a virtual 5K event started six years ago to help plant trees in parks & forests.
Participants can walk, hike, run, or roll to complete their 5K anywhere outdoors anytime between April 18-26 in celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day. Runners are encouraged to register as soon as possible to ensure that your swag arrives before the event week. Registration will close on April 1 or when registrations are full. Last year, we had to close registrations early when so many people signed up, SO DON’T WAIT!
For $36 per person, each participant will receive a keepsake Happy Little T-shirt, a commemorative bib number, a finisher’s medal and will plant 10 Trees in Oregon.
If you prefer not to receive a keepsake Happy Little T-shirt, a commemorative bib number, a finisher’s medal, you can donate at this link and one tree will be planted for every $1 you donate.
