January eNewsletter

Dear Friend,

We all sat in the smoke and wondered…What can I do? How can I help?

Oregon Parks Forever has established a Wildfire Tree Replanting Fund.  The goal of the fund is to plant at least One Million Trees.  Each dollar donated will plant a tree!We want to help the public lands get replanted soon, so that in the future our children and grandchildren can enjoy the same green and lush forests and landscapes we have been able to enjoy.

State Parks Extend the Window for Making Campsite Reservations

Many of you have been asking when you will be able to make advance camping reservations in the State Parks again.  As of January 14th, the Oregon State Parks Department is extending the window for making advance camping reservations, from the 30 day window initiated due to the COVID pandemic, to SIXTY DAYS.

Double Your Impact with Workplace Giving

Did you know that on average, one in 10 companies match employee donations? Maybe your employer would match your gift to Oregon Parks Forever, allowing your contribution to have twice theimpact?

Many companies provide this employee benefit and some even extend it to spouses and retirees. Ask your employer about completing a matching gift form to double or even triple the impact of your gift!

Thank you for taking the extra step to see if your gift can be matched by your employer to enhance the experience in Oregon’s beloved parks!

Please stay safe and be good to yourselves through this challenging time.

Sincerely,
