National Parks Service Birthday

The National Parks Service turns 105 this year! President Woodrow Wilson signed the National Park Service Act on August 25th, 1916, and to celebrate, the National Parks Service offers free entrance at parks nationwide. In Oregon, both Crater Lake National Park and Lewis and Clark National Historical Park will waive entrance fees. A full listing of parks with free entrance nationally is available on the National Parks Service website.
