Partnership with Wapato Weed Warriors Removes Invasive Blackberries

Wapato Access Greenway State Park is home to many species of birds and mammals, however several invasive plants have taken over areas of the park — including the invasive Himalayan blackberry. A local group of volunteers called the Wapato Weed Warriors have been stewarding the park for years.
